The project 'Whispers of Caribbean Isles' has partnered with the National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago. The partnership struck in January 2024 will involve opening a call for participants through the National Trust's networks. Ashleigh Morris has been designated as the collaboration coordinator to handle the partnership at the National Trust.
On the 31st of January 2024, the Whispers of Caribbean Isles Project met with National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago Chairman Margaret McDowall, Vice-Chair Neisha Ghany and Heritage Preservation Officer Ashleigh Morris to discuss the collaboration.
The main thrust of the collaboration proposal is in helping build a working-group in Trinidad and Tobago.
This collaboration opens the door for future projects and developments between the Museum of Archeology and Anthropology in Cambridge and the National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago including the potential exchanges of expertise and material in coming years.
